Hmmm....not so sure I agree here. I think the idea of this site is a 'fan forum' rather than a controlled official site. With that, we should all be able voice our opinions ...good, bad, indifferent. It's the beauty of democracy.....it stimulates debate.

I believe there is no need for 'ugliness' if comments of any ilk are constructive and thought through. It's always easy to attack what you don't understand rather than argue your point in an intelligent manner.

OMG!! I haven't been on here in months. When I left there wasn't negativity at all. What the heck is going on here? Why is everyone nagging on Barry? I thought this site was to show our appreciation to him, for what he sings and does, and has done for many years. Why complain? Where is it going to get you? Probably piss him off and not sing/perform anymore. Is that what you want? I know I don't want it because I haven't been able to see him in Vegas yet!!!

It's not so much having a go at Barry. It's the old story of fans fighting amongst themselves over one-upmanship. Who has seen the most concerts, who has met him most, been touched by him, shaken his hand, etc. Honestly, who gives a toss? I certainly don't. For me it's ONLY about the music.

My 'moments' with Barry mean something to me, but not to anyone else. that is why i don't do that bragging thing, that is unless someone asks me. when I meet or talk to people who introduce themselves to me by telling me 'oh I have seen him 124 times, and am doing my 4th Platinum in May, and oh yes he knows who I am and,.....and.... well I just turn off right away. No it's not jealousy, it's just I hate braggarts.

Barry was in BAMBI!! Didn't know that. Ok just joking. I've been away for about a month, just on a bit. I don't know whats going on. I've noticed from other comments that there have been negative comments re: shows and such.
But I haven't actually seen the negative comments, I went to the old Bnet and it was all positive.
My opinion is why don't we all just get along. I think if all I have to say is nasty then I need to keep quiet, but if it is only a difference of opinion, not meant to hurt and certainly not attacking anyone including Barry, then why not say it. We are not all going to agree, I love a good discussion. I feel if people need to be agreed with, then perhaps a little maturity is needed. So lets all agree to disagree. As my friend Denise says Life is too darn short for bickering.
I love Barry fans they have become my best friends.
