A Capitol Fourth- My Take

So, I got to D.C. in the morning yesterday and walked around for about 10 hours before the show started. We went to the Capitol around 6:00 and it was packed!!!

By the time the show started, I could see Barry... but, not that well. I could hear him though, which was the most important thing. I had a decent view of the jumbo tron.

I wasn't as upset as I would have been if I wasn't going to see Barry in Pittsburgh tomorrow... I should have no problem seeing. I taped the show at home, so I'm excited to see it up close.

The JumboTron is the huge screen above the stage that they broadcast the show on for people who are too far away to see the performers up close.

It's nice to read that you got to DC and were able to see/hear the show. Watching it on TV was fun, but being in DC sounds so special and wonderful.
Have a great time tomorrow night in Pittsburgh. Barry was looking great and I'll bet you'll see an amazing show.
