Hello everyone, How many of you are fanilow's in Australia? I live in Sydney, NSW.
Barry Manilow is wonderful! I listen to his music all the time, and i'm only 28 yrs old! My friends think i'm a werido for loving Barry's music, but his music lifts me up when feeling sad. I would love to travel to Vegas again to see Barry's show.. but would love it more if Barry came to visit here!!! :) I was told he last visited here back in the 80's?? i think??
Does anyone know? Will have to read up on that. Anyway, keep smiling. Gabs

Hi, Beth here, I live in Sydney too, southern suburbs. I have listened to Barry all my life, my earliest memory is when I was 5 yrs old and we drove to Queensland on holiday once a year, and my dad played Barry all the way, there was 7 of us in the car, and everyone complained except me.

As a teenager I listened on my headphones all the time, got me through family problems, friend dramas and my studies, I don't think I told many people about Barry though.

Now as a mum of 4, Barry relaxes me and keeps things calm, I love listening in the car when driving in horrible Sydney traffic to and from work.............he makes the trip go quicker.

I last saw Barry in Sydney in 1996, we have to keep hoping and dreaming he will return, but in reality I would say trips to Vegas are what we will have to do, I think I just did my last trip to Vegas Aug 09, so glad I got to go to the hilton again, fingers crossed we both can make it back one day.
