For Those Of You That Did Platinum

Was it just me or was anybody else shocked about how much makeup Barry has to wear? When I first walked in I'm thinking to myself wow thats a lot of makeup I had no idea he had to wear that much! I have to admit I was a little taken aback at first I hope it didnt show on my face. I think it started to and then I stopped myself in time. I've been thinking about it and I really hope he didnt notice!

funny, i thought he didn't have on as much makeup as i was expecting. in fact, i wondered if he wasn't quite ready for stage yet?? weird how each person sees things differently.. cuz you know i was staring at him the whole time... lol...

My daughter is 11 years old, and this whole week she appearing at a local theatre in a stage musical, for each performance she is caked in make up, it's not only to protect the skin from the lights and heat on the stage, it's to stop the performers looking pale and washed out, which is also what can happen under stage lights.

For the Platinums, you are seeing Barry just before he goes on the stage, he doesn't have time to put all his make up on after the Platinums and before he goes on stage, in all the Platinum pictures I've seen, he looks great... and I wouldn't care if he had green and blue make up on with pink spots (lol).... just being with him would be enough for me.

I think that's why when we see the occasional "off duty" pic of him, he has the same shadows under his eyes and sometimes washed out look that a lot of us can have without makeup. I would hate the feeling of pancake on my skin all the time.

Barry looks great with and without makeup and no, he was not wearing too much make up on my Platinum night. He looked the same onstage meaning that he looked great!

Wow hot pic! As usual! Oh dont get me wrong Barry looked hot and gorgeous as usual, and believe me I was staring into those beautiful baby blue eyes too and getting lost! I just didnt realize how much makeup my poor Bar actually had to wear!

I think Barry is just fine with wearing make up and the skin on his face is not affected. I am sure he has his own dermatologist who knows what cream is best for the skin on his face in terms of nourishment after wearing make up. The skin on his face, hands and probably the rest of his body is well nourished by the cream he is using. I shook hands with him and indeed the skin on his hands is very soft, like silk.

I think you're right. Barry takes very good care of himself and, although stage make up can be hard on one's skin, he probably takes care to use whatever is best for him.
