NO~~Barry did NOT write that song but~~it is a BEAUTIFUL song!! It is on the Here Comes The Night album~~one of my favorite albums!! I also LOVE the SEXY, GORGEOUS pictures of the Divine Mr. M!!

I love when someone mentions a song -- I see us all scrambling for our CD's to check it out. I'm ready for a new selection -- have been listening to The Complete Collection and Then Some -- all are so good and diverse. "How Do I Stop Loving You" -- Oh, my goodness what a song. So, "Here Comes the Night" is ready to go into the car this morning. And I'm going to pull out the CD's w/Brittany and Jimmy and Andrea in honor of the 2nd episode of MTV.

One of my all-time favorite songs. The last chorus certainly does swell. Leah is absolutely right, It's really cool when somebody references a rare song, we all go scrambling for that CD. I imagine Here Comes the Night will get more plays than usual this week.

Here Comes the Night was the first Manilow album I bought with my money, so it holds a special place in my heart.

Here Comes the Night is one of my favs. The LP has the sexiest back cover I have ever seen. But this song is definitely a fav on that album. It's so beautiful and slightly haunting, but his vocals are amazing. You can hear the emotion in it.

This is one of my favorite songs of his, yet I have never heard anybody ever speak of it. I admit I didn't like this song at first but I gave it a chance and my first reaction was "WOAH." The way he builds up the emotion as the music crescendos is amazing. I always end up turning my ipod even louder just because the music is so powerful. It's amazing songs like these that go unnoticed and it's such a shame because they're just so beautiful.
