YES, IT IS. I simply don´t understand and get this. I get sad and I´ve just posted that people who want to be negative can go somewhere else. I´m only here to talk about BARRY MANILOW AND NOONE ELSE. There is often a pattern to this. Some people reckon the board moderators aren't around at weekends, so it gives everyone freedom to get bitchy. It mainly seems to happen at weekends when there isn't much going on in the Barry world - i.e. like now, when he's recovering from surgery.

I just tend to keep out of it, unless I feel really strongly that someone needs defending.

I have never made a comment here before but I have strong feelings about what you are saying..I agree 100% that this site is supposed to be about us all loving Barry and finding out interesting things about him and his life and also the lives of the members..it is for fun, not for arguing..there is to much negativity in this world..Do we really need this site to vent your angry feelings .Dont you remember how they shut the site down when there was all the nasty talk about Barry cancelling shows..And the letter Barry sent us all which reflected that he was not to happy with some of us and that no one was concerned with him and if he was okay..just that they were not happy that shows were cancelled..I had intentions that time of sending a note to him inquiring as to if he was okay but did not and regret not having done it at that time..We all have our troubles and trials in life, I am personally having one now but working thru it and listening to Barry helps me thru. Lets all try to use this site for pleasant thoughts. not anger....Lastly, if Barry is reading this I hope he is well on his way to recovery and good health..My 6 year old granddaughter is also wishing you best wishes and kisses..whenever she stays over I have to put on Barry for her to sing and listen to as she goes to sleep. I am hoping if you get back to the east coast I can take her to a concert as she was very upset with me when I went to Connecticut to see you in August and did not take her..would not speak to me for a whole day..She knows all the words to "I can't smile without you" It would be the thrill of her life to get to see you...Just a little note to make you smile I hope..and again hope you are doing well.Love always

Nancy, that is a wonderful post because I love this story about your granddaughter. She already had a wonderful taste in music and GOD BLESS HER. I don´t blame her, she was a little sad about not coming with you but I do understand you. It´s a sweet story and your granddaughter sounds sweet. I hope she has forgiven you now. It IS darlin~~IT IS & Nthat is WHY I am here too!! But, unfortunately some fans take advantage of the privilage that has been afforded them to be "not so nice" & air their grieveances etc. I am SURE that when Barry comes on this site, & he DOES he makes him very very SAD to see what his/this site has turned into
& that it has strayed so far away from what it was/& used to be in May 2008 when it wasw started. I know because that is how long I have been here!!
