San Diego Concert

Hello!
Does anyone know why Barry canceled his concert on Oct. 18th in San Diego? I hope he is OK. I have not heard a word as to why this happened, I just showed up for the show and we were turned away (Booo Hoooo) I sobbed all the way home, I was heartbroken, but I hope he is OK. Do you think my tickets will be honored if he reschedules? I cant get answers from anyone, so I joined this network in search ot the answer.

Hi Renny: the show was postponed not cancelled so you may wanna call the fan club and inquire the dates for this concert being rescheduled.

My heart aches for you Renny. I just knew this was going to happen and I am so sorry to hear that it happened to you. Were there many that showed up. This is what I know but if I am misinformed I'm sure someone will correct me.

The show in San Diago has not been cancelled but POSTPONED for sometime in the spring. Barry had wrote a letter to us here on MMN explaining why the show was postponed. If I can find it I'll send it to your page. Barry will be going to get hip surgery again after the Hollywood Bowl and he will be recouperating until the end of November. The information I will find will explain most of it.

It was such a horrible mess with the San Diago/Sacramento events. Even after the postponement announcement tickets were still being sold. I don't know who to send you to about the tickets being honored when the new date will be announced but all I can say is what I feel but it's best to ask from the people where you bought the ticket.

Poor Barry. I hope he has a speedy recovery after the surgery. I can't wait to see him. I'll hold on to my ticket and PRAY that it will be honored (VIP row 3!!)

Unfortunately although this show plus others were cancelled several weeks in advance, publicity about it seemed to be sadly lacking. So sorry to hear you have been disappointed. This site (and others) were hot with it all when the announcements came out. I hope you can get to the new show when it's rescheduled. Lots of people were out of pocket over cancellations.
PS I see you at least live locally, so hopefully didn't have too much to cancel like flights or hotels.

The cancellations were announced here. On his official webpage and I received word via email, too. So sorry to hear word didn't get out to everyone. Looks like ticketmaster or wherever you got your tickets from would have let people know. :( That sucks.

Good news is he IS OK and we all wish him the absolute speediest recovery ever!!
