My heart goes out to all that had their platinum cancelled. The good thing, if there are platinums offered next year they get first pick.

Hi Ladies....

Not really sure how many people still use this site, but i just want to say how sorry i am for anyone who has had their platinum date cancelled this year. I KNOW first hand, how important this day is & how terribly dissappointed i would have been had mine been cancelled.


But hang in there, & hopefully he will continue to do them next year, & everyone can try again....

My Platinum was booked for November 13th. I just got an e-mail that the November 12-14 weekend was cancelled. I guess that means no Platinum now.

I met Barry on MAY 29,2009. What a great experience,thrill of a lifetime. He was so nice to talk to, and looking into his beautiful blue eyes, I melted.Saw 2 great shows,would like to meet him again.

Hi Guys!

I DID IT!!! I met Barry ~ and I didn't lose it once! Well....ok almost once!!! Lol!!!.

Isn't he just the SWEETEST guy!!??!!! He made me feel so at ease, he was lovely!. He sure asks alot of questions!! He knew I was from the UK so the first thing he asked me was "tell me about Proms In The Park, what am I in for??" don't ask me to tell you what I said cos I can't remember!!! lol. He smiled when I said I lived close to Birmingham and said "We know Birmingham!" Bless! He asked me if we had met before and I said we had briefly at a London signing at HMV in Dec o6..he did not remember doing that!!.

He asked me several other questions which I won't bore you all with!! lol. It was lovely to meet my fellow Platinumes..big hello to Kathy and Barb! Didn't we have a great night????.

The show after was just wonderful, Barry was on blistering form!!!. All in all a wonderful, unforgettable experience!!!

So nice to meet you.. We had a great weekend, didn't we??? even tho i wasn't doing Platinum, I had a terrific weekend & the 2 shows i saw were out of his world... wish i was still there..

So happy you got to do a Platinum meeting. He is the best!!

My Platinum was Sept. 4 and I have to say that I'm very glad I did it. It was such a privilege to be able to say "thank you" to someone who really has made a difference in my life. Mr. Manilow was very kind and I enjoyed the entire time -- where I got to meet the wonderful ladies in my group, the ladies from the BMIFC, as well as his assistant Marc, and bodyguard C.J. They were all kind and it is apparent that Mr. Manilow surrounds himself with the best people. The show that night was fantastic and sitting in the front row was a real treat. Thanks Barry and the BMIFC for providing the fans such a wonderful opportunity.

My Platinum was this past Friday night. It was a special time. Barry was so sweet when I really needed it. Our picture is perfect and I will never forget the conversation. Thanks Barry
