Hi all, my name is Catrin and comes from Germany. Many Manilow fans already know me, actually. Now I have a little bit more time, because I my others work out from the Manilow Managment, any more may not exercise. I write for 3 years in a novel row. In 2008 mine came out \ "Memory of a Dream - Love Against All Odds \" and it sold very well. Then this year "Memory of a Dream 2 - I Don \'t Want to Walk Without You \" came \. At the moment I write in \ "Memory of a Dream 3 - Greatest Hits Tour \". 7 books are planned by MOAD and it does very big fun. Besides, I write in big Barry Manilow Book what determines still 1 year needs to it is ready. I have informed because of this Book also Garry Kief, because of copyright injuries. I can write the Book. Any more I would not like to write into the bargain. How everything began: It began in 2007 with a dream. By mine website I dealt every day with Barry. I mine personally (would not nicely have been it, LOL), no, I my articles, videos and his music. I learnt to learn during all years more than 500 Barry Fans, unfortunately, some have also died of it. I mailed round-the-clock with all fans and there was always only one subject \ " Barry Manilow \ ". I was we say very much in put under stress. Barry took over sometimes thus said my life. Sometime one day I did not have a crazy dream any more stopped. During 1 week I dreamt over and over again of Barry and the dream went on and on. It was quite uncanny. Sometime I said to myself, now you must write down everything what I also did then. I already thought this I am moved, but as I know now, I was simply demanded too much with Barry and the Friends. I watched on with Barry and went to bed with Barry. I know it sounds funny, but it was real in such a way. From it became MOAD. Excuse my English. Catrin

Well I finally did it -- I wrote a book. I can now check that off my bucket list. Since it is my first (and probably only) book, I thought I would share it with you all. I think you all might find the subject matter interesting. :) My book is "Midlife Fanilow" and I've posted it on my page for anybody who wants to read it. Feel free to post comments, I'd like to know what other people who like to write think about it (good or bad). Like I said, it's the first I've done, so don't be expecting some kind of Great American novel. I just thought some of you may enjoy it and now that it's done I'd like to share it. Hope you like it! Also, it's just the typed manuscript -- I don't know how to do anything fancy with it.

A while back I found the book that Barry talked about reading when he was writing "Sweet Life" (he said he bought a book on how to write a book). I had hesitated on buying it since I had bills that needed paid, etc., etc. This weekend though, I gave in and bought it. So far it's very informative and stresses many important issues about the writing process. In case anyone is interested, the title is "On Writing Well--The Classic Guide To Writing Nonfiction" and the author is William Zinsser.

Hello All !
I think wot Denise "K' really says it great--I have 2 books that I think are ready to try to be published--Talk about re-re-re-writes and more re-writes. Now I have to "type" them out onto a coumpter. I like to write alot of times on hard copy first--it just is easyer in alot of ways. It's you & your note pad--you can write anywhere without needing some lifeline--phone hook up & all--.
For Liz--there are computers that you can talk to & it records wot you want. ( I think that's wot Chris Reed had) Don't give up writing--Such talented wonderful folk we have here!
I am going to entrust Cool Girl and Maria & Sheila with some of my storys if they will be so inclinded to read them--If they like them I will try to publish them one day. Pam has gotten me interrested in maybe writing some childern's books as well. Has anyone thought of doing that?
I have alot of spoohy storys to share--if ya like that kind of stuff--Maybe we could write out some of them & save the best for a really cool Halloween Writers Blog fest--
It's now 12:46 am ---where I am in the Pine Barrens-nite all!
http://www.snopes.com/info/search/search.asp You can find out about alot of things there--just type in wot you'd like to investagate
I got this: www.ghost-story.co.uk/famousghosts.html
I'm going there now for a short while before beddy bye--
Glad to get to be here! Hugs! Bussy Bee

Hi all. I'm Liz. I am a writer, which would explain why I'm here. I haven't published anything yet. In fact, I've never finished a novel. You see, I have severe tendonitis in both my wrists. There is pretty much nothing they can do, and I have had it constantly for the last four years. For a while, I pretty much gave up writing. But lately I've opened up my word processor, as Barry has inspired me. I don't have a project in particular that I am working on. But I have created the most wonderful characters, so right now I am writing short stories involving them that hopefully I can piece them together when I do get more ideas. The album Here At The Mayflower partly inspired me to begin writing again.
