Another imbecile? Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans.. democrat, who goes on local tv here and starts cursing and blaming everyone on the planet, but himself. And he's the Mayor of the city---He even leaves the city and the people trapped there, to setup camp in Baton Rouge. Isn't the Captain suppose to go down with the ship? lol.

Mayor Nagin had homes on other places and sets his butt there too.

Just another brave democratic fighting the war on hurricanes. (Not)

They're not too good at fighting wars are they? No matter what kind of war it is--even one of nature.

If anyone would know the "truth" about Katrina,it would be Louisiana. Proof we knew it wasn't Bush's fault? Louisana goes with McCain/Palin, during the presidential campaign. If we despised Bush so much, we would have went the other way and went with the rhetoric of Obama during the campaign

''Louisiana" knew who was at fault during Katrina and it wasn't George Bush.

I know Bush did not do everything right, but I felt at least we had a man in the White House. lol....l swear I did. lol...

My message to Obama would be.. "Man up!" He stills blames Bush after almost a year in office and he has no idea how distatseful that is, and how unappealing that is as a man, and mostly as the President of The United States.

Think about it=---Did you ever see Bush go on tv and blame Bill Clinton for his weak policies on foreign affairs which led to 9-11? Nope. He wouldn't do that either among many he wouldn't blame. It's not his nature to blame anyone. He was at the wheel and it was his job and that's how he was.

Governor Blanco relents and falls and finally admits she cannot handle Katrina and finally gives him the ok. Trust me. That's what happened. I can't say how I know this but just believe it when I tell you.

Blanco drops out of running again for a second term as governor, after Katrina. She knew she had the contempt of Louisianaians.

And while we're opn the subject of george Bush..lol... I live in New Orleans. Maybe in his book the truth will come out. The democratic governor was the problem.

Here's why--- A president cannot just roill into a State. States have rights over the federal government. Governor Blanco, of Louisiana, was ill advised and was told NOT to let the feds in because it would make her look weak. She hesitated. She was playing politics with people's lives in New Orleans during katrina. He couldn't come in until she gave him the ok....

Does anyone think for one minute that Laura would have let him ignore these people in Katrina? Nope. She rules the roost folks, because this is one marrage where he can't live without her. She NEVER would allowed him to do that. Of course he cared. He was waiting for the ok from the governor of the state who hesitates because she's faraid of looking weak.

People need to use their heads and know their AMERICAN CIVICS! A president can not go into a State without that States permission.

The people in Louisiana know what happened. Why do you think we elected a conservative after Katrina, Bobby Jindal? We had, had it with the democrats.

He took the crticism like a man though. He wasn't going to attack her. That's not his nature...and some say to his own detrimate. He'll go down for others. That's his nature and personality. Many urged him to fight back but he wouldn't do it. I wanted him to fight back too, and it was hard to unbderstand, but the ones who know him personally say that's his nature. To take the blows for others.

Bush would have stopped with the banks. Can you see George Bush calling up private small familiy owned car dealerships and telling them to close... shutting them down? No way!

Well, Obama did that to 90 family car dealerships, and that's just Nebraska!

I knew it was going to be bad when he left but I didn't know THIS bad as Obama steamrolls through our freedoms by tearing through our private and personal ownership of property away!

Pictured above.. Texas welcomes back home, The President!

And he and Cheney wouldn have thrown these terrorists into a military court and not let them walk on New York Soil ever. They would never have given them American Rights as they now will have in our courts... THAT'S An Obamanation! No way were they for that and democrats know this is true.

By Joseph Curl

Former President George W. Bush, outlining plans for a new public policy institute, on Thursday said America must fight the temptation to allow the federal government to take control of the private sector, declaring that too much government intervention will squelch economic recovery and expansion.

With the Obama administration establishing far-reaching controls in the auto, real estate and financial sectors, Mr. Bush said that "the role of government is not to create wealth, but to create the conditions that allow entrepreneurs and innovators to thrive."

"As the world recovers, we will face a temptation to replace the risk-and-reward model of the private sector with the blunt instruments of government spending and control. History shows that the greater threat to prosperity is not too little government involvement, but too much," said Mr. Bush, who has remained largely out of the limelight since leaving office and rarely criticizes his successor.

Delivering a speech on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, future home to the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the former president sought to explain his decision to have the federal government intervene at the beginning of the economic downturn last fall.

"I believe in the power of the free enterprise system, which made the decision I faced last fall one of the most difficult of my presidency. I went against my free market instincts and approved a temporary government intervention to unfreeze credit and prevent a global financial catastrophe," he said.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe strongly that President Bush is for the Free Enterprise System. Cheney explained in an interview how much pressure they were under to help the banks. He said the banks were different and Bush did not intend to take this into health care and into private small family car dealerships. Nope, not at all.
Perhaps they should not have made the decision they made, but think about this---
If Bush wanted to Socialize the Nation, he would have strated way before his last year in office.
President Bush was NOT a Socialist. And I believe Obama would have done this anyway. Obama is definitly a Socialist. Think about it--Bush is a Texan. They believe strongly in the free enterprise system and small government, something the whole country used to believe until the democratic progressives got in....Socialist raise taxes. Bush lowered them. And he lowered them across the board, the middle class too..not just the rich.
