OK, I have seen Barry's tribute to Michael Jackson on the website that was mentioned on here, ETonline.
He says he can't get his head around it, like the rest of us. I still can't believe it, I've known Michael's music since I was a kid. I love his music, both the Motown and Disco songs.

I know that Barry has produced for Dionne Warwick among other artists. On one of the TV Specials he duets with her on "I Know I'll Never Love This Way Again", and I wondered if he produced that particular song and if he also plays the piano for her on the actual single. He plays it for her on the DVD. I know he used to be Bette Midler's pianist.

Since I bought the TV Specials boxed set I've watched one a night. They're absolutely fantastic, every one of them. They're all different from each other; no two are the same. I notice that the 1st Special was recorded at the Ravinia Festival, Highland Park, Illinois in 1977. The other was recorded at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood, a beautiful old theater. This was recorded in 1978 and mostly the theater is empty except for Barry. The last two songs are played to a live crowd.

I recently bought the "Barry Manillow TV Specials" boxed set and I love them. On the first disc, when Barry is doing the "New York City Rhythm" number, he walks through the streets of New York and into a house. When he's in the hallway a snippet of a song is played. I think the lyrics are "In my life, in his life". Does anyone know the song title? I've tried Googling it but can't find it on there. The song snippet is played again between "Sandra" and "Early Morning Strangers".

Hi, everyone, I was just hoping that someone can fill me in on last night's Las Vegas concert - did you go? From what I can gather, Barry performed as usual but was not 100% fit, is that right?
What exactly happened? I just pray that he'll be fully fit soon and back to his normal self. I know he's just human and gets the same bugs that we do but I don't like to hear of him not well. I think a lot of him and want him healthy and back to normal.
