I'm with you, I love christmas shopping when the christmas music is playing in the malls and all the decorations are up. So many people I know shop in the middle of the year to avoid the crowds and parking dramas, but I love,love christmas...

A little late, my thoughts-Vegas 27-29 August
There has been so many great reviews lately, Labor day weekend and of course the proms, but I just wanted to share my great time in Vegas 3 weeks ago.
It has taken me a little while to get the chance to put my thoughts and experiences down in words. I am not the best writer but I really wanted to right about my time in Vegas to share with you all and also keep as a memory for myself, it was a time I will never forget.

Would love to have gone to Paris on the opening weekend. Actually March 6th is my birthday but I don't think I will be going then. This all came on so fast with the announcement and then the ticket sales immediately and all around the holidays. I would prefer to go in the summer because I can go longer. If it is during our school year, Sept - June I can only take one day off and add it to a weekend. I have to really sit down and look at the schedule. I know my friend Michele is anxious to book.

- Hi Beth! Yes, I have a Platinum for next WEEK... (a week, already?!) Looking forward to the show ... will be nice to see him in a different venue, doing Christmas songs, too... :) YAY!
I have no plans as of yet for Paris. Money is going to be very very tight next year for me, so I'm almost certain I won't be able to go. :( :( :( I have tons of friends going, too. :( But who knows? Maybe I will be able to scrape up the money... stranger things have happened, I guess... Gotta think POSITIVE... :)
Have a great day... I'm just about to get ready for work. Yesterday was a nightmare with people yelling at us. 40 appointments in an 8 hour day... (21 showed up) HELP!!!! One camera. Man.

- Thanks Beth. We fly out next Wednesday and we are doing a bit of a tour before LV. I hope and pray Barry is fully recovered by then!! Another girl I have been corresponding with has told me that a lady from Australia is going the same night, so it must be your friend. Don't worry about answering sooner, we lead such busy lives and I can be just as bad. I will definitely report back to you in December Lynda x

I cannot wait to hear where Barry will perform in Vegas next year. I think he will probably be either at the Paris or Monte Carol, opening on Valentine's Day. That would be so romantic!

sorry had a shocking week at work. I purchased the music and passion dvd here :) and i purchased the 'Songs from the seventies' dvd in Vegas, and it plays on my dvd player too :) i think it depends on your dvd player?

Rumors have it that Barry will move to the Paris (hotel in Vegas) next year. At this point, without the confirmation from BMIFC there are just rumors.

It was so nice hanging out with you in Vegas. We sure did have a great time. I'm so glad Maureen talked me into going in August instead of October with all these cancellations going on.
I signed up for Manilow TV. Wasn't going to but my finger slipped and hit that 'order now' button. So glad I did. CIBM was worth the $20 alone.
Can't wait for the new cds to come out. I'll be happy with the cover cd while we wait for that original to finally appear. When I did my Platinum in Oct.2007 he told me he was working on an original cd and how hard and time consuming it was. He wasn't kidding!
I hope we hear soon about his plans of staying somewhere in Vegas.
