Hello to everyone...it is really busy this summer for my daughter at her job and I live with her and her family so that affects me. It means being available to be with my granddaughter often at a moment's notice....like I mind

bunny - where have you been? Seems like all the girls that camped out for Barry have all but disappeared or just lost interest. I'm still going strong - close to 40 now - eek!! 3 years away. Time sure has flown by. I wish you well with your health and will keep you in my prayers. take care-Penny
Hi Bunny, I felt really sorry to hear about Kathy. I remember she had a great sense of humor and she seemed really nice . I enjoyed all the stories she told about travelling with her husband in Hawaii. I will always cherish the memory of having known her. I hope that you will continue to maintain a positive attitude about your health. New medicines and cures are always being found to battle these illnesses. I will remember you in my prayers. Always ask God to help you and he will. I have faith that you will recover and do well. Your granddaughter sounds adorable and precious. I bet she is alot like her grandmother. I'm not sure if you remember me...think way, way back at the first 3 conventions...I think that's where I met you! Lol
Anyway, to jog your memory, that's me with Barry at my platinum last year...I still look the same after all of these years...I guess that's a good thing? Lol
Also, my last name used to be Filla, and I had much longer red hair. I used to live down in Zephyrhills, FL, for 14 years, and worked over at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, but then moved back to Pittsburgh, PA, about two years ago.
I am so glad to hear that you are doing much better than you were. Also, congrats on your granddaughter! I have a soon to be 14 year old daughter, Megan Nicole, whose birthday is June 26th. Time flys!
Anyway, hopefully you will remember me, and if you ever need anyone to talk to any time day or night, I'm usually on-line working...I transcribe medical reports from home for the Singing River Hospital down in Pascagoula, Mississippi, all the way up here in Pittsburgh : )

For all of my Manilow friends; some know but some of you who may be new to me I was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure (which I spent several years arguing with a GP that my symptoms were more than asthma) and in treating the CHF caused my kidneys to fail, So now I am going to dialysis three times a week.
Please do not feel sorry for me...I feel better than I have in about five years! And yes, I found another, better GP! Life is good these days. And I am a Red Hat lady!
At the present I am living with my daughter and her family. My name is on the list to go into a Senior Independent Living facility.
I have a three year old granddaughter named Lydia who every day reminds me of myself when I was her age! She loves the movies Hairspray and Grease! She takes ballet at the daycare where she goes. Very much a little princess!
