They took Barry off the marque outside of the Hilton. And Barry is being replaced by a country group. They also took all of the books with Barry in the rooms, out of the room. It was very disappointing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes
I've trying to think of what to say about Barry, I am a 52 year old, single female. I had a choir director in high school that first introduced me to Barry. My choir director thought that Barry was the greatest composer, musician and singer of modern times. He held him in high esteem because "musically he was the total package". I remember coming back to high school to visit and hearing "One Voice" blasting at full volume in the choir room. I thought that I too would be a singer and was studying vocal music at Western IL University.

I've always admired Barry and was always very anxious to hear every new album no matter the concept, twist or turn. There was always a gem or two or three on each and every album. I have them all and can sing along with all the lyrics. It is very comforting to have all these "friends" in good and bad times. Thank you Barry and all your lyricists for all the gifts you have given to the world. As long as we all live, you too will live on.
Thanks you again. May God Bless everyone who helps you and keeps you going as we love every moment of it.

Review from Vegas show 11/29/09

First off let me begin, for those who want pictures-I don't do them. I am pictorially challenged, (means I chop off peoples head or feet or take them when their eyes are closed)

Secondly I bought these tickets in June back before we knew Mr. Manilow would be in Chicago and I blew the $ on the ticket Row D seat 38. Wasn't really sure where that was but was assured by Laura Scott and Bekah that I had great seats and great seats they were. Then Mr. M had his surgery and I was sure these shows woul… Continue

"This Is It" It really was........

Know this has nothing to do with Mr. Manilow but am just coming down from seeing MJ at work. What a gifted and talented man. Such a shame that he is gone. He really had more talent in his pinkie than almost anyone else (exception-Mr. Manilow). There were several things that impressed me, his understanding of timing and how silence is important in a song as it plays out and how movement so enhances the story telling of a song. The tribute to his brothers, his wishes for our planet and his huge ta… Continue

One Less Place for Mr. Manilow

Saw this on ET yesterday, Garth Brooks has taken up residence at the Encore. Steve Wynn is flying him back and forth from Las Vegas to OK. And after the gig he gets to keep the plane. Nice perk huh.

If you could.....

As Mr. Manilow is now recording or going to record "The Greatest Love Songs" what songs would you love to hear on that CD? Lets' keep it to 5 selections.

Mine 1. Someone to Watch Over Me

2. What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?

3. A House Is Not a Home

4. Hello Again

5. Evergreen

The way he turns a lyric- I would love to hear his arrangements of these songs.

What about you?

Chris,
I have lived that song . . . . . . so it is a pretty emotional one for me.

Two weeks from right now, we will all be standing around looking at the merchandise wondering and talking about what he may do.

Hi Chris:

I hope you, your mom and the dog are very good. I'm so glad you're going to Las Vegas, I hope everything works out great. I also think of you often and I have you in my prayers, I thank you ask for me because I face trials of life, I hardly think that if we are beings of light, with a mission are valuable people who can be unjust and wicked at work, and frankly I was a little sad.

Several of the friends of this network have been very kind and I was comforted. For my part, I cling to good and to Light. In my prayers, visualizations and pipelines.

I've told you that I spend many matches. You tell me you read about San Miguel, yesterday I went to u beautiful town called San Miguel de Allende in passing because I work in another town called Victoria 5 hours from here. What do you think? I was in the church of San Miguel Arcangel and asked for you, for other friends and by the complete health of Barry.

We connected on a subtler level. It's nice to hear from you, and I'm not so sad.

I send these fotosde Barry your puppy.

Light and Blessings
