Courtland - I don't undestand what it is your looking for? What Ning network are you looking for?
Well, that did work; but I didn't find what I was working for. Maybe if they'd bring the search option back, I'd find what I was looking for.
Another way to look up ning sites is on google.
When you type in your search string, also type a space and then type the following:
site:ning.com
Example: Christmas site:ning.com
This will direct google to limit your search to just sites with th…
Go to where it says Ning on the upper left corner, that will take you to Ning's main page, out of the MMN. You can do your search from there. I hope this helps!

I never thought to look there, lol! But, now that I did look, its only within a certain network. Its not there on he Ning home page :|
there is a search bar on the top of the page.. should say your name, then sign out and then the search bar..
Does anyone know if you can still search for a Network on the Ning home page? If so, how? I've been trying to find it for a week.

Courtland - From what I gather and you can correct me I am wrong, but is Kelsie someone your interested in? If so, then a simple written note would suffice. I don't think you need to make a big production out of presenting it to her. Good luck :-)
