I cried my eyes out. As one of the oldest and longest fans, I have watched with saddness at times. Tonight was amazing. I loved his choice of songs, highlighting the hopes of this country and our renewed place in the world. Perhaps we will be able...
I forgot the most important thing. PBS carries many stations in certain markets. In Charleston, SC, they have 4. In our market-for the 2 Manilow fans that are here-it is channel 11.
PBS is a different station in each market and depends on your carrier besides. I think, though not sure, that they are carrying it live. Anyone else know for sure?
The loss of this talented performer and genuinely good soul is overwhelmingly sad. What is even more sad is how he was made to suffer in his life based on accusations that were never proved, finger pointing, jealousy, family issues. Mans inhumanit...

What a special experience it must be to be IN the Capitol for JULY 4! I have to settle for watching it on PBS, but am just as excited....ESPECIALLY THIS YEAR!
I hope Barry sings "LET FREEDOM RING" as a part of the Program......the PERFE...
Need buses to go down...lots of fans.

Laura Scott said… - Oh I have as much hearing back as I'll get. It's like hearing under water but it's better than none at all. I had a mild procedure done a few moths ago, and they said it's as best as it will get because with age it'll only slow up again anyway.

Glad to hear you are doing so well. Keep up the good work! I was in my 30's when I had cancer. Ended up with both chemo and radiation plus complimentary medicine which most, not all, my main stream docs kind of poo pooed but it did all help and in the end I also heard the word "cure". Keep thinking possitive thoughts, and sticking to your guns!

I'm back AND ovarian cancer is NOT a death sentence
I'd like to thank you all for the good wishes and words of encouragement you offered the first week of March when I was diagnosed. The surgery went long, hard and recovery was...interesting...not nearly as interesting as chemo...which really does suck but I only have 3 more rounds to go.
