So sorry I've not been in touch for a while, but I haven't really been on here much these past couple of months. The thing is, people think I'm on because, when I turn my PC on, my page automatically comes on - even if I'm not on it!?
Anyway, I've just been to the Theatre tonight with J. It was a surprise and I had booked the tickets a while back to see "Pack of lies" with none other than Jenny Seagrove and Lorna Luft!!!
The play was brilliant and after the show we rushed to the stage doors, armed with our programe and my photo with Jenny taken last December in some concert hall.
Would you believe it ... she remembered! All I said was "we met at the O2 last December and I spoke to you about my daughter who is studying Drama at school", and she went "oh yes, I do remember!" She sounded very genuine and started talking to J about her ambition. Then, Lorna came out and I said "I saw you four years ago at Blenheim Palace, at Barry's concert", and she went "oh Barry is my dearest friend and he's a great performer!" Then, I found myself having this surreal conversation with Jenny Seagrove and Lorna Luft about how great Barry is and how I came to meet both of them thanks to him!!! Someone pinch me please!
As they left, I said to Lorna "please give Barry my love next time you see him" and she replied "I sure will!"
B****y surreal I tell you!
Anyway, it was a great evening and we thought we might go back on Saturday evening, just to arrive at the stage doors once the show's finished, so to get some proper pics as my camera died on me tonight, even before I could take one photo! How embarrassing!
