I debated how I wanted to write this. Bullet point/summary style. A full Las Vegas/Platinum trip report. The Platinum Story and the reviews of the Friday and Saturday shows....All of them would be fun to write, but I decided on a mix. Enjoy!

Stats: Location of Tattoo-Lower back
How long did the tattoo take-10 years. Ok, the tattoo only took 45min. BUT designing it took me a decade. It's not my first tattoo (I have 5 others..none of which are Barry or even music related, except a Beatles one I have on my shoulder),but it is for sure my favorite. It is also the one that means the most to me so I wanted it to be perfect...and I think it is. Pardon my ego..lol.

As some of you may know (and for those of you who don't) I was in Las Vegas this past week for a friend's wedding. When I booked the week long trip back in Feb. I knew if I was going to be in Vegas, I was going to see Barry and my very good friend Cara (not the bride) and I did.

Ok, so here is how all of this started. Won an auction a PBS affiliate was having for a Songs of the Seventies VIP package. It was a package for two and included a night at the Hilton, 6th row center seats and meet and greet with Barry. Naturally I took my mom. She is my best friend and without her musical influence I may have never become a Barry fan. I think in some ways she was more excited than me. It was adorable watching my 50 year old mother act like a giddy teenager.
