I can't believe that summer is just about over!!! Of course, the opening of the State Fair should remind us of that. :) As usual, I'm passing it up. My husband and daughter are there right now. I just don't get what people see in it -- seems like the same stuff to me every year. But I'm probably wrong. What boggles my mind is that people actually come from out of state to attend!

It's kind of quiet here in CNY -- a lot of heat and humidity. And we're beginning to wonder if the rain has any intention of stopping. It's wreaking havoc with allergies!!
No vacation planned until NYC in February. From what I've heard, West Side Story is going to arrive on Broadway!!! So saving the money now. :) Also would love to see South Pacific if it's still running.

Mother's Day turned out to be very nice. But it's very hard to watch others work in your kitchen -- especially when they don't do things the way you do. Have to have a lot of patience.
It's hard to make reservations here for Mother's Day because of the University's Commencement. But I'd rather stay home -- a lot less hectic.

Thought I would drop in and let everyone know how my day is going. It's very busy -- trying to clean, etc. for Mother's Day. Since I'm the Mom, seems like someone else should be doing this but I'm not gonna complain.
No sense trying to go out to dinner around here-- the University's commencement is tomorrow and it's impossible to get a reservation anywhere - besides eating home is a lot more fun and you don't have to get dressed up. My nephew (what a sweetheart!) is bringing a HOMEMADE raspberry… Continue

I see none of my friends have had the guts or time to post a blog yet. And I can't believe that I'm doing this!! I figure that I'm pretty safe since no one will read it. :)
I live in a very cold and snowy area of the country. In fact, we win the Golden Snowball award almost every year. Translated, that means a LOT of snow.
I've never been to Florida or Las Vegas and I'm proud of that. :) I have been as far south as Ocean City, Maryland, though. Nice weather but no hills and mountains.
