As we contemplate life in these United States of America, let us all remember the sacrifices our people have made and are still making to allow this country to "Let Freedom Ring". Let's all have a Capital 4th! I'm looking forward to tonight's Capital 4th celebration and, of course Barry with full orchestra and chorus!

We have all seen the tweets supposedly written by Barry. I saw another one today done by SMSSG/Barry Manilow. It talks about Clive, Marc and the Clio Awards and what he was going to wear. This "person" comes of as let's just say an egoist, big time.

I treated myself to my own "present" by splurging to buy the new Greek Theater DVD. I've been spending a lot of time reconnecting with my inner peace. Since my separation I've been listening to the music and have begun to realize I need to be me. I can always find a song of Barry's which will reflect my feelings or make me feel better.

Well, sometime during the rain the old black and white cat died. He was about 13 years old. We knew he did not have long to go. When I moved in on March 15th, I noticed he was skin and bones and rarely ever ate. He spent most to the time hiding under my bed. We found him in the corner near the garden where he always liked to lie and watch the garden. The grandkids are, as you would expect,upset. I just checked on the Houston weather to see how things are going there. Many streets are flooding and the roads are too. It is raining here in Waco also. Well at least the garden will get some much needed water. I hope the snakes will go away. Have not seen any more since the other day.
