Linda LaRose said… - Hi Kim: Sorry it's taken me so long to visit you here on Manilow Network. After getting back from Vegas, I've been so busy but still, thinking of you. Here are some of the highlights of my trip~! My first trip to Vegas was more than I had hoped for~! Both Saturday January l7th and Sunday January l8th concerts were fantastic~! Barry shook my hand both nights and we saw him in the Tempo Lounge as well. On the catwalk while Barry was walking up the stairs singing Copa, I was looking up at him and he looked right down, into my eyes and waved and smiled at me~! I felt dizzy at that moment Stephanie who was next to me said "that was just for you"~! He is so beautiful up close. He really put on two great concerts but the second night, he changed it up in the middle of the concert and did "CIBM Dance Version" and gave us the BAMS~! He smiled a lot at us girls and while playing the piano, the angle he was sitting at, looked like he was connecting to Gwen and I, so we put our heads together and waved our glow sticks slowly while he sang "WINE", very emotional. When Barry did "Looks Like We Made It" that sent us all into a spell of total delight~! He was so sexy in that song, OMG, indescribable actually~! One night, a bunch of us sat in front of the Manilow Store around midnight. The group of girls just kept growing as we shared our Barry stories and got to know each other better. Totally unbelievable~! This trip was everything I could have dreamed of and more~! Now I know the absolute thrill of sharing Front Row and being that close to Heaven~! Your Friend, Linda LaRose

I have been sooooooo busy with the holiday season. I haven't had much time for anything, even shopping for Christmas. I still have tons of that to do! Plus I won't even mention all the wrapping that needs to be done. I am singing in a Christmas Production called "I'll Be Home For Christmas" so the practices keep me pretty busy as well. It takes place in the 1940s so we get to wear our hair in the 40s style and wear 40s dresses, etc. I am excited about it! It has lots of Big Band and Swing Music in it!
I am glad that your internet and e-mails are back to working....I hope!

Victoria's Bushfires
As you go about your day, please stop for a moment and spare a thought for those who died in Victoria's bushfires and for those who have lost their homes.

To my friends I met in Vegas
I just wanted to post a big thank you to all my friends that I finally got to meet last week in Vegas.
You are a great group of girls and it was fun to see the shows with you all and then party on afterwards.
You all made my first time in Vegas a fantabulous one, with loads of memories.

Rob Guest
I awoke to the news that one of Australia's greatest Theatre Talents passed away last night.
Rob Guest suffered a major stroke yesterday, and died last night.
Rob was well known for playing the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera and at the present time was playing the Wizard in Wicked.
It is truly a sad loss of such a great talent, my heart goes out to his family and friends.
