You should get private dinner with him after all of this!! lol. My fingers are crossed that you don't have to change the date again and your time with him is worth all the hastle.

I'm goinng in March........I had booked for the 6th and 7th March with the intention of doing Platinum on the 5th. However, its opening week (I thought as much) so Barry isnt doing Platinum that week. As I had my Platinum cancelled from June and the lost the shows too, and then lost the shows in November as well (although Barry needed his surgery in Oct/Nov so it wasnt a problem and his health comes first). Well, I wasnt going to let it go you know. So I'm going in March but not for the opening weekend. Gutted but I just couldnt lose Platinum again.
Hope you have a great time. Say hi to the girls for me when you are there, I'll be thinking about you all and will be devouring Dana's reviews when she puts them up!

- Oh good for you! I don't know if I can reschedule mine, my father passed away last month and I ended up getting laid off my job so I don't think I can do it. Plus I lost so much when they cancelled them in the first place- most of the airtickets and most of the hotel was down the drain.
Maybe someday I'll get my chance to finally meet him. You'll have to let me know how it went! I hope it is a lucky date for you! Hopefully he won't cancel again!

Oh absolutely, I asked for a refund about three months ago. I need that money more than they do! I haven't heard of any Platinums for 2010 in fact nothing about a Vegas venue has been released, though the Paris rumor is out there. I guess if he will be playing at the Paris & if they do Platinums for those shows then they'll let us know- seems like my Barry dreams keep getting squashed. You must've went to the Hollywood Bowl, hope you had a great time!

Any word on your Platinum yet? Guess B will be elsewhere in Vegas- from what I've read it seems like some Plats might have gotten rescheduled for Nov & Dec- maybe people who were booked on days before us? Anyways it looks like they're doing Plats for the Christmas shows in PS. Wonder why we werent' notified of those? PS isn't any harder to get to than Vegas. Other than that,no updates.

- For those of you who are going to the Hollywood Bowl, it is very important that you read the hollywoodbowl.com web site. They have a limited number of parking places and they do have shuttle buses that come from all over Los Angeles and deliver you there.
You can also print out a map of the bowl area too!
If you think you'd like to drive to the bowl (you must get there early) and I suggest that you call 323-850-2000 and pre-purchase your parking. They have "stacked" parking.
We will be meeting between 4-4:30 in picnic area #5. The parking is opened at 3:30. Since they are having the fund raiser at 5pm, I'd definately plan on getting there early if you'd like to see everyone!
They do have places you can purchase food if you want.
