I just went on Twitter to follow a man who claims to be Barry, and there is no way that this person twittering is Barry! He is so conceited and foul-mouthed that he has to be an imposter. WHAT NERVE!

I am writing this blog feeling melancholy but remembering a dear friend of mine that passed away. I lost my friend Christina 3 years ago New Year's eve to heart failure. She was such a special person, born with spina bifida and confined to a wheelchair. She always had a cheerful, positive attitude, and she brightened my life. I was watching The View today, and Elton John was the guest. He was talking about playing Las Vegas, concert fundraisers, and scoring Billy Elliott on Broadway. He is so successful and so busy, and the first thing that came to my mind is that he and Barry are similar. They are both talented singer/songwriters, hard-working, and very loyal to their fans.
