First album that I ever bought in my whole life was "This One's For You" (back in the Seventies) - Last songs played at my father's funeral - "Say No More" and "Stardust" (2001)

Yes I can't believe how cold it got so fast. I wonder if there is any hope for an Indian summer???
Have a nice week end. I am spending the weekend with my very dear friend, Cheryl, who I met on here and have not seen since June, in Vegas. So we will be barry happy to see each other. Pamela

Hello, Everyone- I take my daughter off to college this weekend and return to an empty house (except for the 3 fish, 2 dogs, and that 25 pound cat)... so, guess what I'll be doing this weekend??? Yes, that's right - playing every Manilow CD I own and cryin' my eyes out! MFTH!!!

I am from Southwest Michigan. I used to print off a little mimeographed newsletter in the days of "Barry's Buddies" - I think it must have been the early '80's; around the time of the first ever BMFC Convention... I remember I was traumatized because I had contributed a little to the covention; some ideas or something, and then at the last minute my employer reversed herself and wouldn't give me the time off to attend - the first day/night of the convention, I quit my job - still didn't go to the convention, but I remember stewing while I was at work, about the unfairness of the situation, and I finally just walked off the job - told my boss she was un-just or something... and I just left... that night I ended my career in the frozen pizza industry... slicing pepperoni for a living lost it's appeal (and I promptly returned to college the next fall!)... lesson learned... when music fills the heart, that does mean something... Funny u should mention Copa--My hubby's favorite scene is where Barry's drinkin a glass of wine and his nose goes into the glass. When u blow that up -Oh Boyeeee!!! I'm glad you're enjoying my artwork as I had to dig into the archives for the majority of it as it had not been seen in over 25 years...what was I smokin back then???Nevertheless, the more stuff I come across, the more I'll add on to it. Have a splendid day! what part of MI are u from?
Thanks for your comment Tehry. I'm off on holiday on Thursday so won't be able to post for a week or so!! Can't wait to have week in the sun - the weather here in the UK is awful!!

Just for fun... if you put in the DVD of the Copacabana movie, and you enlarge/magnify the screen by 2x or 4x - what a treat... it makes the movie kinda like an "art" film - my daughter and I had an absolute BLAST watching Copa like this - and this was after we had just finished watching it normal size!!! TOO much fun! Take care - T
