I used to print off a little mimeographed newsletter in the days of "Barry's Buddies" - I think it must have been the early '80's; around the time of the first ever BMFC Convention... I remember I was traumatized because I had contributed a little to the covention; some ideas or something, and then at the last minute my employer reversed herself and wouldn't give me the time off to attend - the first day/night of the convention, I quit my job - still didn't go to the convention, but I remember stewing while I was at work, about the unfairness of the situation, and I finally just walked off the job - told my boss she was un-just or something... and I just left... that night I ended my career in the frozen pizza industry... slicing pepperoni for a living lost it's appeal (and I promptly returned to college the next fall!)... lesson learned... when music fills the heart, that does mean something...
