I've been a photographer for half my life! :) Concert photography is tricky because of the limited lighting, etc... only a small percentage of the photos will come out great. Use a high ISO. I use 1600 but it depends on the camera, too. Some cameras are quite grainy at 1600, whereas mine isn't so bad. (I have another camera, that produces horrible grain at the same settings as the main camera I use) You just have to practice to get the settings right. I use all manual settings so I can tweak what I need to to make the exposure right. Of course you get more light into the camera with slower shutter speeds but then you risk getting more "blur", too... Practice, practice, practice... :)

I think I recognize you from our canceled Platinum in Oct of 2007. When Barry had the flu???? Your hair is longer but I think it's you...... I'm glad you got to go back! I went back in June of 2008 and my Platinum went very well. My friend that was with me did not go back. She was too angry at Barry for not showing up for our Platinum. There was no reasoning with her about him being sick and it was not his fault. She turned on him horribly. It pretty much ruined our friendship.
