Hi Eileen Yes are family are doing okay I'm getting ready this next couple of days to get things done for Thanksgiving We have our basement all fixed up for the guys to watch football Us ladies[my sisters] will be upstairs with the kids after we eat. Hi.Lovely to hear from you again.Yes,my printer is up and running ,scanner and printing have tested out and the printer is so much better.The detail of the picture we copied,was so amazing.The other bits have not tried yet,as it can copy straight from digital camera as well.Hope to do sometime,but want to be supervised by daughter or someone to make sure i do not mess up memory card from camera.Christmas will be having our son home for some time,as sometimes he will stay into new year.He makes up his mind as the time goes on,and not before he comes.Then he goes back to his "home" [residential] in Henleaze.Our daughter will be over one of the days with her partner and girls.Although i think it falls for the weekend when the younger 2 are supposed to be with dad.So i do not know yet for sure what daughter will have arranged.We had a lovely day with them last year,over her house.Did us proud,even though her partners a chef because he does not do cooking at home as such.Did it between them.Daughter has been his assistant at some places he worked in past,as extra to her main job,so she can do a lot more than she used to.My friend Beth,who lives in Stone Allerton,goes to Axbridge being near to home.She is 71 now,and i am wondering if she goes to anything like what you mentioned.Beth Downer is her name,so if by chance she goes to this event and you hear her name, tell her who you are to me.My card list is now over 70,have done the best wishes inside,but the detailing bits i am going to start some tonight.I will be away next monday [30th],as we are off to Tenby on out tinsel and turkey break,so i shall have to catch up with everyone when i get back.Hoping there is not an overload on here to come back to,Love the messages,but i get who has made a blog or who left a message on certain sites etc.and makes a huge list of mails to get through.Yesterday and today have had 11-12 per day.It is not too bad on daily basis,but after one has been away,it is too much to go through.Last year after a weeks break,came back to over 80.takes me such a long time to sort out the neccesary ones,from the ones that do'nt matter.I will have to sort something out before i go.I shall put up a letter to let my friends know on my sites,in the hope that leave only neccessary messages for me,and leave anything else to when they know i am back later.Hope you are keeping well.Take care.Chris.
Counted how many cards i have managed to do so far,and was 56.Must admit that the ones done since over weekend up to now, still have to have a few finishing touches to them.Plus all have to have Best Wishes or With Love stamped inside.That part won't take too long,and finishing touches are mainly putting decorative bits with craft gem stones,and perhaps the odd holly or stars embellishments.Quite proud i have managed more this year,and i am quite proud how most of them look,although it helps when they put in a guide sheet.I start off going by the sheet,then i get my own ideas as i work on them and create with the die cut images my way.Now i have my new printer [yessss.at last, although may need help in making sure in connecting correctly] then hopefully i can get a couple up on here.Sounds like Daisy is doing fine,and happy that you got to see her at last.Nice to hear from you, and hope we can keep in touch now a little more often,as things seem to be looking better with your computer as well.I like hearing from you,perhaps one day if possible,we could meet up somewhere somehow.Anyway,take care of yourself.Not sure if i have a sore throat or a cold coming,as keep sniffling and throat has been feeling a bit rough.'Bye for now.Chris.
