I heard Barry saw straight from his own mouth on KOST FM interview that he indeed is leaving the Hilton but is going somewhere else on the strip....he said on the same street at Caesars Palace....sounds like he is staying in Vegas

Well, things certainly have gotten exciting around here!
On the one hand, I’m really sorry to have caused so much pandemonium by postponing and canceling a few shows. On the other hand, I’m very glad that these shows mean so much to you.
Frankly, I’m not exactly sure whether the upset is that I cancelled a few shows or the way I cancelled them.
It seems to me that as soon as my doctors scheduled my surgery, I posted the rescheduling information with enough time for everyone to make new plans. After all, it’s only a few shows, I thought.
The doctors tell me that I need between four and six weeks to recuperate so canceling six Hilton shows didn’t seem like such a big deal and since the San Diego/Sacramento shows hadn’t really been on sale for too long, it didn’t seem as if that would cause too many people a lot of trouble.
But I guess I was wrong. So sorry if I was wrong.
I really wasn’t going to announce my personal, private hip troubles again, but I guess I have to since the freaking out seems to be getting out of hand.
You know, my friends, we’re only human. I know many of you think I’m not, but stuff happens to humans. Deaths in the family, sicknesses, technical problems, late arrivals, etc. We all do the best we possibly can all the time to never disappoint you. But stuff happens to us humans. And as hard as we try, we just can’t always be perfect.
Out of all the complaints there were only two people who wrote, “I hope Barry’s okay”. Only two. That was an eye-opener.
You must believe that when things like this happen- cancellations, postponements, delays – there is always a legitimate and unmovable reason for them.
You all must know by now, that me, Garry, John, Marc, Vicki, Kirsten and everyone at Stiletto take your loyalty and friendship very, very seriously and with the utmost responsibility.
If things like this happen, you have to know by now that we have looked at every way to fix problems and that there is absolutely nothing that we can do before we make decisions like this. We all know that it’s going to cause people to be upset and it kills us to have to change things.
Causing you guys pain and upset is awful for all of us. We would never make these decisions if there were any other way out.
Once again, my sincere apology to anyone who has been affected by my personal problems.
I’ll try to recover as fast as I can.

I have seen Barry in Vegas 3 times, and really hope to go back in Oct. When I read your thoughts, I said I bet Kim is around my age...yep I was right, I turned 39 last week, so just a bit older haha.
Anyway just wanted to say hi, and i really enjoyed reading your Vegas experience, I I know what its like to be "blown Away", shame I live so far away.

I'm so jazzed. 15 days until Everett. I did the FrontRow Auction thingy for the show in Spokane and I got my ticket yesterday. Oh my gosh, what a fun weekend that will be.

I can't believe the cold. I love Washington because it's not suppose to get too hot or too cold. These chilly temps just aren't working for me.
We're suppose to get more snow on Wednesday and then again over the weekend.
WooHoo! We see Barry in three months. There's a thought that will keep me warm.

I ordered my ticket on November 21 and it was delivered on Dec 3. I paid for three day delivery but I think that's from the day they mail it, not from the day you order it. Yours should be coming soon.
I'm so glad you're going to be at the concert. It'll be a blast.

- OMG!!! Thank you thank you thank you for the Donny & Marie clip of Barry & Jenny! That was too too good. I had never seen that. It's so nice to see others act the way we want to but wouldn't have the guts or nerve to. She was adorable and Barry ate it up! It's after 11 pm here and I am going to sleep with a big smile now. Thank you again, that is priceless!

Yes, I got my ticket for the March 15th show. I got a 3rd row seat. I looked and looked at the front row tickets but I think my kids would be cranky if I told them that their Christmas present was me sitting in the front row of a Barry concert. ;-)
They wouldn't be nearly as amused as me. Bless their little hearts.
I didn't think we'd see him here either. I was so jazzed when I read the HOTLINE message. What a wonderful gift. I love that he's doing these charity concerts. He's such a fine man.
Are you loving the 80's CD? I'm captivated by it. His voice is excellent and the songs are arranged beautifully. I think it's going to be the only non-Christmas music I'll be listening to for the next month. Ahhhh, Christmas music. I adore it. My favorite time of the year.
I live across the Narrows Bridge on the Penninsula, between Gig Harbor and Port Orchard. It's about a two and a half hour drive to Everett for me. I think it would be nice if some of us from this site could get together before the show. We'll make some plans as the date gets closer.

Just heard the news about Barry and boy am I happy after not knowing what was up...

Wow I just got home from work and just happen to jump on here and check what was going on and I was surprised and confused about chatter that Barry was sick and having surgery. Obviously, I still didn't understand what was going on and was getting a bit scared hearing Barry was sick and having surgery. In my mind I was thinking the worst BUT deep inside praying for the best. After a little research I found out he was having HIP surgery....wow was I relieved.
