I think the Karen Palmer from VA that you do postings for used to be an old Manilow pen pal of mine. Back in the early 80's when I first joined the BMIFC, they used to have a list of names and addresses of fans who wanted to write or get in contact with other fans around the world (this was obviously before the internet appeared!). I picked one person from every state that was listed. I used to write to a Karen Palmer from VA, and every time I see one of your posts I wonder if it's the same person. If you want to send me a personal message regarding this, you can.

They have a limited number of parking places and they do have shuttle buses that come from all over Los Angeles and deliver you there.

You can also print out a map of the bowl area too!

If you think you'd like to drive to the bowl (you must get there early) and I suggest that you call 323-850-2000 and pre-purchase your parking. They have "stacked" parking.

We will be meeting between 4-4:30 in picnic area #5. The parking is opened at 3:30. Since they are having the fund raiser at 5pm, I'd definately plan on getting there early if you'd like to see everyone!
They do have places you can purchase food if you want.
