Have you ever dreamed about Barry?

I've had many wonderful dreams about meeting, talking with, and ohh so much more of Barry. These dreams seem so real and so wonderful. I wonder how many of us "Fanilows" have had similar dreams of meeting the man of our dreams? Care to share? I hope so... I know I'll probably never have the priviledge of meeting Barry as I have limited resources, so it can only be a dream, but that's ok. I'm just happy to have exceptional taste in music (as well as my many friends here) and am happy to have the priviledge to know how very special Barry's music has been to me and how it's got me through a very awful and abusive childhood/teenhood and kept me believing that someone out there was exceptional and beautiful inside as well as out. Barry Manilow may not have been "cool" while I was growing up, but he made me feel like a swan and I had his music in my soul which made me special.

yeah i know. but at least give me good las vegas dreams like i dance with barry or something. but no i have dreams that i'm in these weird concert venues and barry's all weird and it's all weird. and i wake up and i'm like, "what the hell what that?!" haha.
but yeah it'll be 17 days in less than an hour. :]

i'm hoping maybe that night after i see barry i'll have a good dream. :] that has the potential of being a really good dream. but on the other hand, i might not be able to sleep for obvious reasons. haha.

Mine are rather weird. I have for many years had two recurring dreams. In one I'm some sort of Tomb Raider type. (Angelina Jolie is much hotter than me, and that's ok.) And I'm on the hunt for some sort of lost Manilow Memorabilia. It can be anything from an album that was recorded but only the master copy exists. It was never released. It could be a spectacular item of clothing that was designed but never worn. It could be a book of music and lyrics bound in pure gold. Anything. And if I find the item and return it to Barry I am to be paid handsomely. And of course we become fast friends and he feels he is indebted to me and all that rot.
The other one has me being his manager, or stage manager, or music director, or lawyer or something of that sort. Some person in his life who he listens to and respects a great deal. It's funny. In several of those dreams I've had to tell him "Barry shut the @#$% up and listen for a moment." It's right about then, when I'm getting ready to bestow upon him my plethora of pearls of wisdom that I wake up. So to this day I don't know if I'm correct or not. Oh well.

I've had two vivid dreams about Barry, one I can't remember that well, but the other one was weird, I was at a concert with my mum, and we were sitting at small round tables, Barry was performing on a small stage which was very low to the ground, Barry stepped off the stage and started walking around the tables, my mum was asleep and I thought, I'd let her sleep a bit longer. Barry came over to our table and I presented him with a gift, he opened it, and it was a pair of socks, on the socks were very small buttons, if you pressed the buttons, the socks played one of his songs, I was just about to wake my mum up, when I woke up myself..

Ever since I was 13 I have dreamed about meeting Barry Manilow.
All my friends thought I was nuts,,,but i still have those same dreams and i am 45 now lol

Yes I have had dreams about meeting Barry, dancing with Barry, Barry singing to me. The other night I had this dream, where he took me by the hand (this was in Vegas at his show) he led me over to the piano and he sat down he told me to stand next to him by the piano, and he sang Somewhere in the Night and dedicated it to me (one of my fav songs).

Barry's music has helped me to come through a lot of obstacles in my past. His music has definitly helped me to Make It Through the Rain in my life.

WHO DOESN'T LOVE TO DREAM ABOUT BARRY?? UMM-UMM THOSE ARE THE BEST DREAMS!! Even if some of the dreams are wierd, silly, crazy, happy, fun ----- *sigh*, I just love waking up knowing that Barry was the subject of my dreams!!

The last time i had a dream about barry went something like this.Being among lots of people trying to get to my seat for a Barry show.Being pushed around and had friends/family with me.Barry was singing on risers near me[ i used to belong to a ladies chorus of nearly 40 people, and we use risers which is like 4 steps high and quite long in width]. I was side on to him, then he said something and i was pushed up to be with him,to find i was on a smallish circle of a stage.I was pressured by whoever pushed me to get up there, to sing. I had to sing on my own, and i remember on waking up how clear and good my voice was, seeing as i have a so-so voice.The song was not one i can remember, and seemed to be one that was made up to sing within the context of the dream. Barry complimented me and hugged me while i was looking into the blue eyes of his, a quick kiss and then we started to sing something together.Next second i was awake and annoyed that the dream had been broken.Aaaaaarrrggh.Never mind, it was only a dream but a lovely one to remember.
