My new tattoo

hi every one just thought i would let you all know that i have decided to have one done. I have booked myself in for 9th september at 11am.
I have decided on the one voice emblem with barry's name above and below.
This is to celebrate my first ever concert on 6th dec ( thirty odd years it has taken me).
I will post pics of my tattoo as soon as i can so that any one who is thinking of having one done can see the end results.
My partner sue thinks i am having a mid life crisis but i am not this is something i have wanted to do for many years and now no one can say i haven't thought about it. ( ever since the drunken barry and tara tattoo 30 years ago)

lol at mid life crisis! Depends on how old you are!!----- Getting a tattoo sounds like a fine idea. I never in my life thought about getting a tattoo. Thought that they were just hidious on a woman! Until a few weeks ago------ I too have been thingking about getting one ( a BARRY realted one of course). Havent said anything to my family yet. Well, I have mentioned it to my niece, but she is not a Barry fan so she is not impressed with me putting something of him on my body. LOL. I havent quiet decided on what or where I want it done though.

Will send you a pic when it is done and maybe you will like it and we can start a little club of our own called " i have a barry manilow tattoo" or something like that. it will look great i'm sure.

Tara, I think it's great!! I don't believe in mid-life crises. As long as you're young at heart, go for it. I can't wait to see it.

Tara--go for it! I'm 43, and I never thought I would get a tattoo, but I got a pink breast cancer tattoo on the date last year I hit the one year in remission mark--I was in Vegas to see Barry to celebrate, and he had bronchitis and cancelled the show. I was so heartbroken, but needed to celebrate the date, so came home and got the tattoo.

I never would have thought about the one voice symbol--please show us how it turns out!

I would be upset if some one had my name tattood on there chest. In fact i would be upset if some one asked me to sign my name there wouldn't you. ( that must have hurt).

Thanks, Tara--yes, I have tickets to see him this year on 10/25 in Vegas. I will be very excited to celebrate 2 years in remission, especially with Barry!

hi everyone i have been wanting a barry tattoo 4 a long time but not got the chance 2get it done i dont know what sort 2have done any ideas i wanted manilow across my back but thought it mite look daft so i dont know. lisa.xxxx

You should look at mine when it's done. (it may be small but it will be good) You should always think about it first cos remember it will always be there forever and if you think it will look daft then DO NOT DO IT.
