Born in Washington DC, put up for adoption at 5 days old. Adopted at 18 months. My parents were in the Navy so we moved many times. My father retired while we were in Hawaii in 1974 and we moved to south Florida for 2 years then to Central Florida in 1976. Graducated from High School in 1982. Did temp work for 2 years and was hired by ATT Communications in 1984. Stayed in Orlando until April 2007 when the payroll operations closed and I accepted a new position in the St.Louis Workcenter for ATT Long Distance big business customers.
Moved back in with my parents in 1998 and took care of them doing the cooking,cleaning, laundry. My mother passed away in 1999 and my father and I spent 7 more years together and he passed away right after I moved to Saint Louis. Two weeks later his dog Sugar passed away. I think she knew he was gone and gave up.
My baseball teams are Chicago Cubs and St.Louis Cardinals. Don't care for football, sorry.
Belong to Fraternal Order of Elks-currently Tyler, Order of Eastern Star, and Order of Amaranth-currently Associate Conductress. Was a member of the Order of Rainbow for Girls until I was 20 and received my majority.
My favorite color is purple and I love to go to the movies and to concerts. I have seen Barry 60+ times,Neil Diamond-5-6 times, Diana Ross, Madonna,Back Street Boys, Fabian,Tony Bennett. Favorite Actors-Anthony Hopkins,Sean Connery, Brian Dennehy,Harrison Ford, Julia Roberts.
I also love to read. My favorite authors are John Grisham,Margaret Truman(daughter of President Harry), Steve Dimartini.

Outside of Canada-Been to Ontario and British Columbia, I have only been to London, will be going to Paris in 2009 or 2010. It will depend on if it looks like our union will have to strike when our contract expires in December 2009.
