It's kind of quiet here in CNY -- a lot of heat and humidity. And we're beginning to wonder if the rain has any intention of stopping. It's wreaking havoc with allergies!! No vacation planned until NYC in February. From what I've heard, West Side Story is going to arrive on Broadway!!! Mother's Day turned out to be very nice. But it's very hard to watch others work in your kitchen -- especially when they don't do things the way you do. Have to have a lot of patience. It's hard to make reservations here for Mother's Day because of the University's Commencement. But I'd rather stay home -- a lot less hectic. Today is absolutely gorgeous here -- already 76 degrees. Thought I would drop in and let everyone know how my day is going. It's very busy -- trying to clean, etc. for Mother's Day. Since I'm the Mom, seems like someone else should be doing this but I'm not gonna complain. No sense trying to go out to dinner around here-- the University's commencement is tomorrow and it's impossible to get a reservation anywhere - besides eating home is a lot more fun and you don't have to get dressed up. I see none of my friends have had the guts or time to post a blog yet. And I can't believe that I'm doing this!! I figure that I'm pretty safe since no one will read it. :) I live in a very cold and snowy area of the country. In fact, we win the Golden Snowball award almost every year.
