An Early Platinum??
No - but if you have read my comments on the discussion "Ultimate Manilow - The Hits Promo" you will have seen my reference to a waxwork of Barry that was commissioned in the early 1980s and was displayed in Madame Tussaud's in Blackpool U.K. The museum photographer took this picture and I remember I was allowed to climb over the barrier so that I could stand next to Barry and put my arm around his waist. The model was life-size and all I can remember thinking at the time was how real he felt - and wasn't he TALL!
