Hi Joyce: Thank you for letting me know about Catrin's husband. I haven't spoken to her in a while so I am very glad you brought that to my attention. He must be in so much pain~! I hope he is well medicated so he doesn't realize what's quite going on. Poor Catrin and her son Enrico. What a stressful time when our loved ones are sick and in the hospital. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.

Hi Joyce:
I am so happy to hear that you are doing so much better and feeling closes to being back to yourself, on the mend and feeling so much better~! Those were dark days for you and your family. So glad to hear you are able to be independent again and start enjoying your life, close to as it was~!
I am very sorry to hear of Catrin's husband medical illness. It sounds awful and very painful as well when she says "a nerve in his back lies open". I will send her my prayers. Thank you for letting me know.

Hi Joyce: I am glad to hear from you. Your life sure took a turn, didn't it in just a few seconds. Look how long the healing process is and will take. I'm glad to hear you are making progress though, slow but sure as they say. Wow, the elbow will never be the same? That's a shame as you wonder in time, what problems may occur "somewhere down the road". It's good you are in the right care and doing your physio 3 times a week. I'm sure there are home exercises as well. I'm glad you have your life back a bit with driving and taking care of yourself. Your little Bonny sounds adorable~! I'm glad you wrote to let me know your progress. I'm sure there are many things to do at a much slower rate, so when you can leave me a message, I look forward to hearing from you. Here's a little pick-me-up picture of Barry for you Joyce. Take care, Your Friend, Linda xo

Hi Joyce: I'm glad you have retired and before this set-back, enjoying your new kind of life together~! Yes, I realized you were there, just for a visit to the Vets for their vaccines. I'm sure, they will be making these stairs a little more visible, maybe signs or putting fluorescent tape on the stairs to make them more seen so this will never happen again. I'm so glad to hear they offered the payments of your therapy. Sounds like good people. Your cat, Bonny looks and sounds like a sweet cat and a true friend. I'm glad she is there for you, taking care of you and being by your side, now more than ever. Yes, each have their own personalities and are all special. I'm sure your progress is slow but in time, you will be back to yourself. Take care and we'll talk to you when you can. Thinking of you though. Your Friend, Linda

Hi Joyce: I am really sorry to hear your elbow is still very sore. I'm sure it would be too. You had a very bad fall and falling from something you think is not there, (meaning the step), would make you go down so fast, you wouldn't know what had happened. I hope the Vets are compensating you for your pain, suffering and being off work. It's the least they can do and they all have this type of insurance, just for that reason. It isn't coming directly out of their pockets. It's coming from the Insurance Company. I'm sure you've said it l,000 times by now but if you could only go back in time. Nothing is better than the original. I'm so glad your husband is such a good guy as you need lots of support and TLC now. Write only when you can. I'll be thinking about you. Your Friend, Linda
P.S. We have 5 cats in our household.

Linda,
I do not work for a vet. I was at the vets with my husband to get the kitties their shots. A bad fall off a high step I did not see. This is going to take awhile. I am in PT now and making slow progress, but it is still progress. Gentle therapy right now. Will get the staples out on Tues. My husband is the absolute best. Will try more of the videos later. I get too tired sitting here too long. Thanks so much.
Joyce
