Hey Connie, your photos are great! Thanks for posting them. Yeah, Manilow in Dallas was pretty cool, everybody was thrilled to see him on stage. Wish we could've been closer, but it was still grand with the whole concert experience! Hope to see/hear him in Vegas one of these years. Glad you snagged the Mayflower CD, that's a keeper too. Hi Connie

Helen here. Sorry I haven't been in contact for a while, but I have had to set up a new email account. I used to send my emails from work, but I was made redundant last week, so I can no longer access my email account from work. I've had to set up a new one on my laptop. I'm having to go round all my friends I had on the network, and invite them again to be friends again, before it will let me add a comment to their wall. So will you be my friend again!

Hiya Connie, of course. I believe you had an encounter with Barry. It never crossed my mind not to believe you. I'm sorry that I peppered you with so many questions. I've never gotten to talk to him like that and I guess I was just living through you for a minute. I have also always wished I had met his mother, so you piqued my interest on that, too. Thanks for being so patient with me and thanks so much for your kind comments on my page. I have fun with it! :)

Yes, I am in the US. I live in north eastern PA. I moved here from NJ in '97. I'm patiently waiting for Barry to come back to the east coast. Since becoming a Mom all of our trips are to Disney World instead of Vegas LOL!

Hi Connie, I'd have no clue how to set something up like the slide show on my page! LOL! You just go to Slide.com and it guides you on how to add your pictures and how to modify it to how you want it. It's really quite easy. I don't know how they get it to do all that prism stuff either! Yes, I bet it DID take a lot of courage to approach Barry. I've heard he doesn't particularly like to be bothered on his own time. I saw him walk right past me out of Tempo in Las Vegas and I stood up and said "hello" and he smiled but I didn't approach him any further. I didn't dare. Isn't that silly. I didn't want to make him mad or encroach on his time...It sounds like he was very kind to you, though. That's awesome! Was his mother very tall?

OH, am I just blind or did you add some new pictures? Love the pix of Barry and Kye! It's a hoot when Kye hits and holds that note longer than Barry and Barry acts shocked! Couple of "hams!" :)

Hi Connie, just catching up on my messages....thank you for sharing your Barry story with me! That is a moment that I would cherish forever! WOW! To be able to talk to him, see his mom, AND get a kiss! I would have died! How did you keep your cool??? Swoon!!! :)
