In yesterday's paper, the Arts and Entertainment magazine had an article about the some of the acts that will be performing at our local county fair this year. Two weeks from today....And I can't stop giggling.

Vegas, Vegas, Vegas. Two weeks from today I'll be in Vegas seeing Barry. It's making me crazy that none of my RL friends and family are as excited about this as I am. I dance, I sing, I turn the music up loud. I try on my Vegas clothes (still somewhat undecided on my outfits) and I prance around in my new 'Barry shoes'. Somedays I want to sparkle, just like Barry's eyes when he smiles.

I figured that since I'll be in Vegas for three nights I should add another show to my plans. Barry's only going to be singing one of the nights that I'm there, so I only get to see him once. I come to 'My Blog' and it keeps telling me I haven't written and blog posts yet. I know, I know. Remember when I said we'd talk, when we got to Vegas, about your post last week? This is what I was making reference to. Your mature attitude toward life and Barry. How well you balance real life and the fun life of a fan. Barry will always be an important part of your life, but he won't be the only part. You're able to see a bigger picture.
You're an intelligent, caring and supportive fan. Just the kind Barry should appreciate.

Aww, thanks for your reply to that whole fiasco that happened today. The nerve of some people right? I mean if she thinks she's my barrymama, well then she has a few other things to think about on top of what i told her to think about.
But seriously, thanks so much for your reply. Your support really does mean a lot to me. It feels so good to know I'm so loved here.

Would you maybe like to get together with Sara and I sometime before Barry and be able to sit down and really talk to each other because in the theater it's going to be so thrilling and exciting that I won't be able to properly focus?

haha, but uhh, tonight will probablky be my last night comming on here till the night before i leave for Vegas. cuase my aunt and cuase are comming from California-oye. and then on saturday, we're going to my aunt's beach-house in Jersey.
so i hope you have a good week, and try not to hurt yourself with those flailing arms ;).

I remember doing that years ago(& I mean years!) when I met a penfriend in London who came from Denver. It was so exciting 'cos people didn't travel so far in those days & I never thought in a million years I would ever meet her. It was great! I've been to Vegas 4 times now. Haven't been this year & have had serious withdrawal symptoms! So am now planning Oct'09. A group of us will go,I expect, & my cousin from Connecticut will be going too. I felt better about things when Barry's concerts over here were announced for December though! We're only about an hour away from the 02 Arena so we've booked for all three & then when Manchester was added we booked for that too as we couldn't face sitting at home knowing it was all going on! It'll be like the old days following him round the country. We used to have such a ball & really have missed his regular visits over here. Am I right in thinking this will be the first time you've seen him live? If you like his music now,just wait...he'll knock your socks off!! Shall so look forward to hearing how you get on! Jx.

but the holy grail thing came from sara. i found a picture one day of barry lying on a piano and umm let's just say he was "ready to go" and i showed her it and she's like, "bekk, it's the holy grail!"

She's in Florida right now visiting some friends and also to prepare herself for Vegas because she's gonna have to deal with Sara and I for 3 days when we're in our Barry insanity! haha.

I'm not able to sleep anymore though. I couldn't fall asleep till 4:30 am because I couldn't stop thinking about Barry and Vegas. haha.
