Hi Mark, thanks for the friend add, just thought I'd introduce myself. This is from my "about me" blog ..........Hey ya Mark, just want to say hello!
My name is Marian Schramm and my hubby, Dale, my son Thad and I live in "Seattle" WA
I was born in WA, in a town called.......Richland!! (lol) on 3/6/54.
You do the math,........anyway I lived in sunny California as a small child for a while and spent the better part of my teen years through my early forties in Colorado. Now I've come full circle and I'm glad to be back on the west coast again!
Do you remember that 'My Favorite Things' song?
Well let's talk about favorite things shall we?
Some of mine include, roses, daffodills, lilacs and California poppies.
I enjoy listening to music from Barry Manilow to the Mannheim Steamroller and Broadway tunes, as well as classical pop vocolists like Perry Como, Tony Bennet and Rosemary Clooney to name a few.
I love to read, I'm fond of Bios and the Chicken Soup for Soul books, read and write poetry, nothing published yet, I love to cook (and eat LOL) and view good TV and/or movies and I love to do web design because it feels very artsy/craftsy and something like painting.
On another note, I have lived now, for ten years, as a shut-in with chronic pain, because a disease called peripheral neuropathy (see my blog) I don't wish to be morbid but this too is part of my life : (
I also, enjoy very much, the prestige of holding the title of collector (as opposed to pack rat) LOL!
My collectable interests include;
1) Teddy Bears
2) Seashells
3) Stamps
4) Hallmark Keepsake Onaments
5) Hallmark Merry Miniatures
6) Precious Moments
7) Cherished Teddies
8) Snowmen both Plush and Figurines
9) Benie Babies, Pound Puppies, (and bears)
10) Department 56 Houses...
H-m-m I think thats all!! lol

A friend of mine is directing a production of "Copacabana" for East Berks Operatic Society at the Wilde Theatre in Bracknell from Nov:4th-8th. Is there a way I can advertise this for her on the UK site?
