The Brightest Spot Southwest of Greenland
Some of you may have known me as RevHiD. The "Rev" is no longer in my screen name, because I'm taking a break from parish ministry to put my daughter first while I have fun teaching. Last year I taught preschool, this year I'm a teacher assistant in Kindergarden. Any doubts I had about the switch were erased when a parent of one of my students wrote this poem for me:
Her name's Miss Heidi, she is a fun girl
with rockets blasting into air and planets floating everywhere
She plays the djembe, and does the cha cha
And you should see her camel dance, she can really make us prance
All creatures great and small, Miss Heidi loves them all,
When those butterflies emerge we're gonna have a ball
With Miss Heidi, Miss Heidi Cleveland
The brightest spot southwest of Greenland
With Miss Heidi, Miss Heidi Cleveland
Music and passion are always in fashion with Miss Heidi..... we love you so!
I also play congas for the alternative worship service at Western Boulevard Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, and I'm (slowly) learning how to play the drum set. That might get put on hold while I get yet another Master's degree so I can get a Teacher's License.
Thanks for visiting my page!
Peace,
Heidi

I love your picture with Barry. I was also at the Raleigh show in March. Loved it so much, it had been a number of years since I had seen him live. Wish he would come back to Myrtle Beach sometime, but at least we got him once. I am hoping to head out to Vegas in Oct. Can't wait..Christine
