Ha, no I didn't do platinum, I was sitting left side stage and he came over to me, sat on the rail, put his arm around me and sang to me. This was during his new 80's song, Never Gonna Give You Up" What a moment. It was awesome!!!!!!!

Hi Jenny,

I am back from Vegas. It was AWESOME! I will post pictures as soon as I get the time to download them and get my pics that were taken of me and Barry together from some of my friends. We had a blast and are going again in December. He did 2 songs from the 80s CD and they were out of this world. This show has lots more songs that he does and we also got "Ships".

Hi Jennifer,

I was glad to be of help. Keep on writing. Write for yourself, and the rest will follow. Don't sweat about getting your book in print--that will happen in good time. Enjoy the process and let your creative juices flow.

Hi Jenny! Thank you. No, it was not difficult. I have taken the Preiwertesten from myself. I do not know itself sold like the book. I find out this only in January. In Germany it is subtracted only 1 times per year. I will see. Another 5 come parts. It is very strenuous because one also comes not always writing to. One has family and a job. It is in Germany also differently than in the USA and UK. The name Jenny comes from Barry \'s song. Catrin

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your interest and great questions. It's wonderful that you have an interested publisher. I wish you all the luck with your project. You will most likely get a contract, be cause he has you doing re-writes---that's a good sign. The one thing you need to keep in mind and ask yourself is: does this publisher have the networking contacts and capital to publish your book without you putting one dime into your own promotion? If the publisher wants money from you for promotion--then this maybe cause for you to question your decision. Publishers are the one to promote your book and come up with an ad campaign. Xlibris, iUniverse, Book Surge, etc are publishers that the author pays for self publishing.

My book, FRONT ROW CENTER, is on CD-ROM as a "go green" initiative. And, yes, I have been getting sales.

I would like to see my book in print by a legit publisher, but I know that the book will be cut by 50% (price of ink and paper). That's the price an author pays when selling a book to a publisher, also the plot and characters could be changed--that's another fact an author has to pay. Also, any advance paid to the author by the publisher can be called back if the book doesn't sell enough copies. I have an agent who would work out all these details. Most big publishers will only deal through an agent. They consider an agent as a filtering process to determine if the author wrote something of quality. An agent makes their money by securing a contract with the publisher. Legit agents never charge an author for shopping the book.

I hope I was of some help to you.

Take care and keep in touch!
