Hi Krista, no, I've never been to DC. I've been around the US but only to NYC as far as the east goes. I'd like to visit some day. It's been cooler here, too. It's kind of strange for August! I don't like the heat either. I hibernate in the summer! LOL! I can't take it like I could when I was a kid....I've been down to TN and MS which is kind of close to you, but never to KY or DC. Maybe some day, huh? How about you? Have you been out West?

Hi Krista, Oh yeah? Me, too! I spent Saturday mornings watching Looney Toons, Scooby Doo, etc....Bugs and Tweety are my favorites. What are you going to do up in DC? That ought to be exciting! My summer vacation was to see Barry in LV at the end of May. I'm home for now....Hows the weather in KY? Are you sweltering like the rest of the country? I'm hibernating! LOL! :)

I go to the Cincinnati area often to see my brother and his family. Newport is not far away, so makes for great family fun. I average going there twice a year it seems. Have you eaten at the Hofbrauhaus there? Yum!

Hello Krista,
So you're from Kentucky. Ever gone to the Newport Aquarium? I love that place. I bought the penguin encounter ticket and had myself a blast visiting with the penguins. What a neat experience! That whole area of Newport is pretty cool. I always have to walk the Purple People Bridge when I'm there.

Hey Krista, how was your 4th? the firework here were great. a friend of mine her dad plays in a band that played right before the fireworks, so we didnt have music with our fireworks but beforehand we did. the finale of the fireworks was awesome.
