This was my "claim to fame"... it happened on New Years Eve in 1983 in Universal Amp. in L.A. Calif.... I had gone 4 other nights that week, the first night, I made a white chocolate piano on top of a dark chocolate record, had that sent backstage... and the T-shirt I made also, and wore it all 5 nights... the second night, I sent a care package to Barry... He had a cold! the 3rd night, I didn't send anything, the 4th night, someone from his crew came up to me and asked if I made Barry a white chocolate piano... I said yes, they said that Barry "loved it".... ( by this time, I was freakin' out! ) on the last night, I sent Barry a picture of me in my T-shirt, holding a picture of him, and left my seat numbers on the photo... I told my friend who I came with that I was going to jump up and down like a loon when " Can't Smile " started... well... Barry started, and I started to jump like a loon... when he said, " How about you, jumping up and down like that..." well, in any event, I lost my mind as I was taken up to the stage... Barry said ..." Hi You, Is that suppose to be me ? " he took my hand and we were leaning on the piano... ( what awesome blue eyes )..., then he gave me a mike to sing into, thank god for my years of singing... we walked around the stage singing, holding hands, then he DID IT... pulled me in between HIS legs...well, needless to say, I lost whatever mind I had, and attacked Barry's poor knee !!!.... Then came that last note.... " Without You "....... Barry gave me the biggest hug, and then " The Kiss "... woof, that man CAN kiss!!! then took me to the end of the stage, where I walked off and and tried to pick up the pieces of my mind, but they were turly gone... ( LOL ) Thanks to Barry for making that one night I'll NEVER forget !!!!
