Thanks Barry, you did it again

Tonight was one of those night when I just wanted to be swept off to another place. Work was crazy and hectic and to top it all off we are in the midst of a winter storm with possibly 6 inches of snow by tomorrow morning. Listening to Bette and remembering....

I escaped last night from the hectic chaos all around me (my husband and son packing for their vacation/adventure) and went and listened to some music online. I came across this beautiful song sung by Bette Midler called "My One True Friend". The lyrics are simply amazing and the way Bette sang it was just awesome. The reason I came back to this site is so I can reconnect with some people like yourself. I know that you have the visitor sign in book. Is that your comment wall? I know you have your chat days and times but I either forget the time or I am busy at work or I am not home. Anyway I am not connecting very well.

I just want to say that I have not forgotten about you or your page. I get there but I don't remember what to do to connect to people.

I believe in freedom of speech but sometimes.....as you stated. I have had enough, too. What does Barry think of some of this stuff. After all it was created for his friends. Us.

It saddens me to know that Barry had walked off stage. Since I had never seen Barry live I think that my heart would have been broken that day. Sometimes one bad apple does spoil everything for the whole bunch.

My goal is to make it to Vegas this year and like yourself I am planning to go it alone. Even if I have to sell what little of value that I have and my nose bleeds for days from being way up high in the theater. I plan to make my first blog with the heading LOOKS LIKE I MADE IT. lol

I just had to leave you a message thanking you for being brave and writing your blog about having had enough. I have been feeling the same for some time. I enjoyed this site when it first started and now I don't. I could write a book on things I have read, picked up etc. Not nice!
