We are in section B1 row 20 seats 11-12. It would be fun to meet up. I am just praying "NO SNOW!" I know Barry likes to see a little snow while he's on the east coast. He was all pleased with it the last time at Madison Square Garden. This is because BARRY does not have to shovel snow. I did have to laugh about the Detroit concert when he almost got snowbound and they actually had to drive from one city to the next. I was thinking, "Well Barry, enjoying that snow now?!" LOL! We had to trapse around in that crap all day in NY before the show. It snowed and sleeted, and rained, and snowed some more, and it was COLD!
My friend Donna and I will be taking the train to Penn Central and then (gasp...I hate this part....) try to figure out how to use that damn LIRR!!!! I usually just stand around with the dumb tourist look on my face until someone tells me which ticket to buy or go up to one of those GORGEOUS NYC COPS (they look fine in those blue uniforms) and try to look pitifully lost. It works. Donna and I are staying at the Marriott which is attached to the colloseum (supposedly).
Rita,
I had the same experience with ticketmaster. First I had excellent seats, front row (yes apparently ticketmaster had a few front row seats) and it kicked me offline. I was soooooo mad, I smacked my lap top and broke it. :( I had to use the phone (how primitive). We ended up in section B row 20 but it will be fun. When I got to work, I signed on.....different section, row 8 was available. I was p----off!!!!
Our cab driver in Vegas also claimed to have carted Mr. M in his cab. I think cab drivers often say those things to impress the ladies. Barry seems like a "limo/SUV kind of guy" to me but whatever. At least our cabbie was friendly about it. He informed us that Mr. M is a "very nice man and a good tipper." LOL!
Rita,
I am interested to hear about your book! That's so exciting! I am going to try and get tickets to that Uniondale concert. I can't spend 2500.00 for a ticket. That's nuts! I've already convinced a friend to let me drag her along. I didn't get a HOTLINE...THANKS A LOT BMIFC! I didn't know anything until I heard about it from someone else. All the tickets were gone except those insanely expensive ones! GRRRRR!!!!

I have been to Long Island several times to see Psychic John Edward. I used to be really into him but not so much anymore. It is very pretty out there. We stayed in Westbury where he show was. I still have not figured out New York's subway system or the LIRR. i have given up trying. I find a police officer or a conductor and say, "Is this the right train?"
