U are WELCOME darlin!! I have been a Barry fan since day 1~~1974~~I was 24 when I became a Barry fan~~I am 58 now!! I have seen Barry twice in Vegas~~Dec.2007 his last 2 shows of the year~~~June 2008~~I went for my birthday!! I am planning a trip in Oct. 2009. I go once a year~~that is al that I can afford it!!

Of course you can copy the Barry pictures. I made a mess of my album, as I don't know exactly how to move the pictures around the way everyone else does.
My eye is getting tired. It's even harder to type with one one covered.
I'm very excited t o have received the confirmation from Stiletto that I have one ticket to Barry's QVC show on Thursday evening. Maybe, if I can get past Barry's bodyguards, I can present Barry with the lei on Thursday, while the lei is still fresh! You're supposed to be with me!!! It would be so nice if we could be in the audience together and being so close to Barry Manilow!
I need to remove the eye patch for a little while so I can run out to buy Barry's flower lei. And it's really windy right now. The door to the attic in the bathroom is makig a lot of noise. And the big trees sound like they are going to come crashing down on the house! Hope my tiny Nissan Sentra doesn't get blown away by the strong winds!
I'm going to try and talk to you again later tonight because we have to leave for the airport at 9:30AM Wednesday morning. I don't think I will have time to sign on to the internet.

Our telephone line was down on Friday, and I was sick on Thursday, so this is the first chance I have had to talk with you.
I have some of my underwear packed (my brother-in-law's Chihuahua keeps running off with my bras, so I haven't been making much progress.), some socks, pajamas. My brother-in-law is getting anxious because he thinks I won't be ready in time.
Today, I found the Barry Manilow CDs with "IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES" and 'READ 'EM AND WEEP". I also had to put a $5.00 deposit for Barry's new 80's CD to be released No.v 25, the day after we return from Las Vegas. The $5.00 will reserve a CD for me, and I get $5.00 off the price of the CD when I go to pick it up. But if you are able to purchase the CD via QVC on Nov. 20, Wednesday, you also get an extra CD of Barry's., but they don't tell you the price. You also have to pay for the postage, so I don't know how much that will total. If I can get the special edition Barry CD, I can make a copy for you, if you would like one. (it's legal to copy a CD in the USA, and I'll be sending it to you as a friend, so it should be ok).
Rosangela, I have decided to buy a flower lei for Barry for Saturday night when I sit on the stage. I just hope the lei will last from Tuesday to Saturday night! We will have a mini-refrigerator in the hotel room, so that may help the lei to last, hopefully. If I can give the lei to Barry, I will tell him this lei is from me and my sister Rosangela in Brazil! I hope that show will be taped so you can see me presenting Barry with his carnation and tuberose lei.
I have been doing too much walking around for an adapter for my laptop, an extension cord for the laptop, walking shoes for Las Vegas, and looking for CDs for Barry Manilow. Now my back is aching!! Rosangela, I looked in the telephone book this morning and couldn't find a long time Hawaii record store called: HOUSE OF MUSIC. I think they went out of business. The only record store I can shop is SAM GOODY. (how sad when you live in "paradise" you have to shop for everything on the mainland or through AMAZON.COM)
I was reading my e-mail, and saw a message from "Maria", who said that she heard that Barry walked off the stage during Friday night's performance, and did not return. Have you heard anything about that? I wonder if he wasn't feeling well?
Well, we leave in four days, trip is already paid for, so all I can do is pack, drop our puppies off with the sitter and hope Barry will be well enough to perform or just sit and talk to the audience when I get there. I just would love to see him for us! I will kiss and hug him for you if I can! The bodyguards will have to peel me off from Barry's body.
Now that the computer is working again, I hope I can write to you again before we leave on Wednesday, Nov. 19. And let me know if you think of any other bossa nova DVDs or CDs I should look for. Sam Goody's in Hawaii only has that one Jobim CD that I purchased.
Chiba(my brother-in-law's dog)is after my bras again!. What a naughty puppy! My bras will have holes in them! You should see what he did to my panties! Rascal!!!
